Jan Botthof

Jan Botthof currently serves as the Director of Drug Product Operations & GMP Implementation at BlueRock Therapeutics, leading global teams in formulation and process development while enhancing quality management systems. Previously, Jan held various leadership roles at Bayer, including Head of Pharmaceutical Affairs TLP, where responsibilities included overseeing a significant CAPEX project for a new aseptic manufacturing facility and ensuring compliance with GMP requirements. Jan's early career includes experiences in consulting and internships focused on biotechnology and medical research, complemented by a PhD in Haematology from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London. Jan is recognized for strategic leadership, operational excellence, and contributions to improving organizational performance.
