Jay Pietrantonio

Jay Pietrantonio has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and research field. Jay currently holds the position of Vice President, Clinical Operations at BlueRock Therapeutics since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. where they held various roles including Executive Director, Clinical Operations, Therapeutic Area Head, Senior Director, Clinical Operations, Therapeutic Area Head, Director, Clinical Operations, Associate Director, Clinical Operations, and Sr. Manager, Clinical Project Lead from 2014 to 2022. Before joining Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Jay worked as a Clinical Trial Manager at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2012 to 2014. Jay also gained experience working at i3 Research on assignment at Biogen Idec as a Sr. Clinical Trial Coordinator and Clinical Trial Coordinator in 2011. Jay began their career as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 2008 to 2011.

Jay Pietrantonio attended Providence College from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
