Luca Gangini

Luca Gangini has a diverse range of work experience. Luca started their career as an intern at Bosch Rexroth in 2016. Luca then completed an internship at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where they developed mathematical models and wrote their Master's thesis. In 2019, Luca worked as a Research Fellow at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, focusing on developing optimization algorithms. Luca then transitioned to the role of Junior Data Scientist at MindIT Solutions, where they developed Python-based flows for ETL operations and trained neural networks. After MindIT Solutions was acquired by Kantar XTEL, Luca became a Data Science Consultant, working on analytics projects and training team members. Currently, they are an Operations Research Consultant at BlueRock TMS, where they analyze logistic data and develops algorithms to enhance customers' networks.

Luca Gangini completed their education in Industrial Engineering at the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia. Luca obtained their Bachelor's degree from 2013 to 2016 and went on to pursue a Master's degree, which they completed from 2016 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Luca has also obtained several certifications. Luca completed the "Power BI Essential Training" course from LinkedIn in June 2022. In September 2021, they obtained certifications in "Agile Foundations" and "Apache PySpark by Example" from LinkedIn. In June 2021, Luca completed the "Deep Learning A-Z: Hands-On Artificial Neural Networks" course from Udemy. Prior to that, in September 2020, they obtained a certification in "Applied Machine Learning in Python" from Coursera. In June 2020, they completed the "Introduction to Data Science in Python" course, also from Coursera. Lastly, in January 2020, Luca obtained a certification in "Learn C++ Programming - Beginner to Advance - Deep Dive in C++" from Udemy.
