Shidan Gouran

Shidan Gouran has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2008, they founded Home Jinni Inc., where they developed the first Android-based Smart TV solution and contributed to porting the Android operating system to the MIPS architecture. Home Jinni's software became the official reference platform for Smart TVs by MIPS Technologies and Imagination Technologies.

In 2017, Shidan became an advisor for Steemit, an online blockchain-based social media platform. Shidan also advised Ammbr Foundation, a telecommunications company that aimed to transform the industry.

In 2018, Shidan co-founded Gamesquare Esports Inc., a company focused on esports, and served as a board member until 2020. Shidan also joined Techstars as a mentor and Polymath as an advisor during the same year.

In 2004, Shidan took on the role of CEO at GULF PEARL LTD. and is currently serving in that position.

Furthermore, Shidan is involved in the environmental sector as a co-founder and chairman of Bluesphere Carbon, where they are developing marketplaces for environmental offsets and regenerative finance solutions.

In 2022, they also joined Gold Lion Resources Inc. as a board member for a limited period.

Shidan Gouran completed an Honours B.Sc in Pure Mathematics at Western University from 1992 to 1996.
