Marella Briones is the Office Manager & Executive Assistant at Bluestone Equity Partners.

A versatile and highly-skilled professional who brings a wealth of experience in the private equity, tech, finance, hospitality, and education fields, Briones was previously at Vertica Capital Partners, a software investment private equity firm, where she provided office management, administrative support, technology oversight, and recruitment management.

Prior to that, Briones was Regional Manager for New York City at TAP Network, a tech start-up providing marketing for the Food & Beverage and Hospitality space.

For nearly a decade prior to that, Briones gained deep experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry working for Mozart Systems, a network consulting firm, as an Account Manager where she collaborated with executive and technical clients, vendors, and partners, managing IT projects such as hardware and software installations, migrations, building construction, and internal and external audits for the financial services industry.

Briones also previously taught music – first as an educator directing the choral music program at St. John’s Public High School and Middle School in the Michigan public school’s system, then as Associate Professor of Music and the director of choral music education and the vocal music program at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri, where she was responsible for all choral activities, music direction for all theatre productions, adjunct voice faculty, voice area recruitment, and music curriculum development.
