Nicholas “Grey” Bryant

Senior Director, People Operations & Training at Bluestone Lane

Nicholas "Grey" Bryant has extensive experience in human resources and operations. From 2017 to present, they have held the position of Senior Director of People Operations & Training at Bluestone Lane, where they provide strategic guidance and direction to the HR department and serves as a business partner to senior leadership. Nicholas “Grey” is responsible for all HR talent management and development functions, including strategy, policy, diversity and inclusion, engagement, compensation, recruiting, training, performance management, and labor relations.

From 2018 to 2020, Bryant worked as a Consultant at PROPER FOOD, where they provided HR and operational consulting services for small businesses to ensure compliance. Nicholas “Grey” assisted with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training HR and operational managers.

Prior to this, they were the Area Director of Operations & Training at Mendocino Farms Sandwich Market from 2013 to 2017. In this role, they managed talent acquisition, new employee orientations, and onboarding processes, and improved onboarding procedures.

From 2010 to 2013, Bryant served as the People Operations Manager at Yard House Restaurants. Nicholas “Grey” conducted interviews, created job offers and salary structures, managed the HR office, and facilitated new hire orientations. Nicholas “Grey” also designed professional development plans for employees.

Nicholas "Grey" Bryant earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from Xavier University between 2001 and 2004. Nicholas “Grey” then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Columbia University, which they completed between 2004 and 2007.
