Vance Sereda

Vance Sereda has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Vance is currently working as a Sr. Software Engineer I at Bluetooth SIG since June 2022. Prior to this, they held a position as a Software Developer II, Cloud Engineering at the same company starting in October 2019. Before joining Bluetooth SIG, Vance worked as a Full Stack Engineer as a Freelance Consultant from November 2018 to October 2019. During this time, they developed a portfolio website for a visual designer and implemented a fully customizable content management system using React.js, Serverless, and various AWS technologies.

Vance also has experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at Jiang Lab at the University of Washington. From June 2017 to June 2018, they developed new polymer formulations to reduce bacterial adhesion on ship hulls, contributing to potential fuel cost reduction for the US Navy. Vance also supported current research in zwitterionic polymers.

Furthermore, Vance worked as an Undergraduate Researcher and Chemistry Laboratory Technician at Seattle Central College.
