Venky S S is a highly experienced quality assurance and quality control professional with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Lead Quality Coordinator at Bluewater Energy Services since September 2020, Venky has successfully overseen the construction of the Turntable structure for the Balder Future FPSO project, ensuring compliance with NORSOK and DNV-GL standards. Prior roles include Piping Supervisor/Inspector at SBM Offshore, where responsibilities included construction supervision and inspections for the FPSO Johan Castberg project, and Senior QA/QC positions at Bluewater Energy Services, managing various fabrication and welding activities over nearly a decade. Additional experience spans QC Inspector roles at Single Buoy Moorings, Veolia Water Solutions, and Bureau Veritas, with involvement in multiple significant projects internationally. Venky holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Bharat Polytechnic College and completed XII STD at MKVMG Higher Secondary School.
