Elizabeth Glynn

Managing Director, Community Solar Partnerships at BlueWave Solar

Elizabeth (Betsy) Glynn is the Managing Director of Community Solar Business Development at BlueWave Solar. She joined the BlueWave team in 2017 as the Senior Director of Community Solar to oversee BlueWave’sfirst community solar project. In fall of 2017, she pivoted to her current role as Managing Director where she has worked to develop BlueWave’s current client product, growing BlueWave’s Community Solar services from 40MW to the over 260MWs that are under management today. She has overseen the enrollment of over 2,500 community solar subscriptions including 82MW of large offtake customers.

Based in Boston, Betsy spent her early career working with multifamily building owners to implement energy-efficiency and water conservation measures as well as renewable power installations to benefit low-and moderate-income communities. She has served on a number of industry councils and boards including the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Advisory Council (2014-2017), the Network for Energy, Water, and Health in Affordable Buildings (NEWHAB; 2015-2017), and the Building Energy Boston conference (2017-2018). She currently sits on the board of directors of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA).

Betsy holds a master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree in Geosciences from Franklin & Marshall College. Outside the office, her passions include running, hiking, skiing, singing, and family adventures with her husband, 2 kids, and dog named CoCo.
