Tyson Buerkle

Tyson Buerkle is the current Managing Director of Site Acquisition at BlueWave Solar. Tyson has been with BlueWave since March of 2020, and in that time has been awarded the "We Do It Boldly" honor - an annual BlueWave core values honor. Prior to joining BlueWave, Tyson was the Director of Site Acquisition for Colorado Springs Utilities, where they tripled the net metered solar market in the utility service territory over the course of a single year. Tyson has also held positions as Director of Operations and System Designer for Sunlight Solar Energy, Inc., Sales Representative for Power Home Remodeling, and Middle and High School Science Teacher for New Haven Public Schools and Teach For America.

Tyson Buerkle has a Master of Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. Tyson has also studied Natural Resources and Conservation at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna.
