Beate Dr. Mueller-Tiemann

Beate Dr. Mueller-Tiemann is an accomplished leader in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Cytiva and as a Member of the Board at DECHEMA and BlueWhale Bio, where Beate is involved in pioneering next-generation cell therapy manufacturing. Previously, Beate held several senior roles at Sanofi, including Vice President of Global Manufacturing Science, Analytics and Technology, and Vice President of Business Integration & Innovation within the Biologics Platform. With extensive experience in biologics, spanning positions at Bayer Healthcare and Schering AG, Beate has been instrumental in leading technology development, managing cross-functional teams, and integrating business and manufacturing strategies. Beate holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology from the University of Hamburg and has attended prestigious business programs at IMD and London Business School.
