Felipe Palhares is a seasoned legal professional specializing in Data Privacy and Cybersecurity, currently serving as a Partner at BMA – Barbosa Müssnich Aragão since September 2020. Felipe also hosts a podcast on data protection and technology with Nuvem Privada and founded Privacy Pro in January 2023. In addition to editorial responsibilities for the International Association of Privacy Professionals' CDPO/BR Training Program, Felipe is actively involved as a committee advisor for startups at FecomercioSP and as a guest professor at multiple academic institutions, including Insper and Damásio Educacional. Previously, Felipe co-founded the Brazilian Legal Society at NYU School of Law and held a partnership at Palhares Advogados, where advisory focused on compliance with Brazilian data protection laws. Felipe holds multiple advanced law degrees, including an LL.M. from New York University and a specialized degree in Data Protection and Privacy from Insper.
