Gil Peleg

Gil Peleg currently serves as the Senior Director of Product Management at BMC Software, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Gil co-founded Model9 and led the company as CEO from 2015 until its acquisition by BMC in July 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Software Architect at INFINIDAT from January 2013 to August 2015, and holding various positions within IBM from 2008 to 2013, including Software Engineer and Mainframe System Programmer. Earlier career milestones include positions at VeNotion Technologies Ltd. as Mainframe Software Team Leader and at Discount Bank as Senior Mainframe System Programmer. Gil began a career in mainframe system programming at Mamram from 1998 to 2004, where leadership in both system programming and cyber security was demonstrated. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Reichman University, earned between 2003 and 2006.
