Darrel Shirk

Darrel Shirk serves as Vice President of Operations for BMG Production Music US since January 2016, overseeing licensing, copyright, administration, legal matters, income tracking, catalog integration, and accounting. Shirk also holds the position of Composer for Modifiedbass, an electronic music act, and has extensive experience in operations and licensing from previous roles at Selectracks Music Library and Bug Music. Early career experiences include management positions at Borders Books/Seattle's Best and ownership of Proof Records, in addition to work as a massage therapist and assistant manager at Togo's Eateries. Educational background includes certification in Music Business from Musicians Institute and a certificate in Sports Therapy Massage from Mesa Institute Of Massage Therapy.
