Richard Maillardet

VP - Global Recorded Digital Operations at BMG

Richard Maillardet has a strong background in the music industry, with a range of roles spanning different companies. Richard started their career at Warner Music Group in 2002 as an A&R + Catalogue Co-ordinator. Richard then moved to Universal Music Group in 2006 where they worked as a Digital Manager for Classics & Jazz. In 2008, they joined EMI Music as a Digital Partner Relationship Manager and later became a Project Manager, leading the Digital Supply Chain. In 2014, they returned to Universal Music Group as a Project Manager. Recently, in 2016, they joined BMG - The New Music Company as a Senior Director and is currently serving as the VP of Global Recorded Digital Operations.

Richard Maillardet has a Bachelor of Music (BMus) degree in Music from the University of Surrey, which they completed from 1999 to 2002. In 2006, they obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Leicester. In 2011, they earned a PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner degree in Prince II from APMG. In 2012, they received certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
