Ruthie Harrison has a diverse work experience spanning over 2 decades. Ruthie started their career as an Environmental Coordinator at Dyncorp, where they coordinated environmental services between EPA offices, samplers, and laboratories. Ruthie later became a Team Leader, responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of environmental coordinators.

Following their time at Dyncorp, they worked at Heartland Community Church as the Director of Community Development. In this role, they recruited and trained small-group leaders and developed and implemented training programs for new leaders.

After their tenure at the church, Ruthie joined Assurant Employee Benefits, where they served as a Claims Analyst and later as a Marketing Channel Manager. As a Claims Analyst, they were responsible for determining certifications for short and long-term disability cases. In their role as a Marketing Channel Manager, Ruthie created customized marketing and business development strategies to support the growth goals of key partners.

Most recently, they worked at BNIM Architects as the Human Resources Director. In this position, Ruthie was responsible for strategizing the use of human resources to support business goals and building capacity. Ruthie utilized performance management and training and development to drive recruitment, retention, and performance enhancement.

Ruthie Harrison attended The University of Kansas from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Management from Baker University.
