Laurent Zazzera has extensive experience as an IT Project Manager and Team Lead. Currently, they work at BNL, Inc. since 2021, leading and supervising a team of 5 IT project managers at the US Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to that, Laurent worked at Sierra7, Inc. from 2020 to 2021, leading a team of 12 IT project managers. Before joining Sierra7, Laurent was employed by HMS Technologies, Inc. for seven years, from 2013 to 2020, where they also led a team of 12 IT project managers.

Before transitioning to project management, Laurent held the role of Senior Engineer at Thales Communications from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, they served as a Consultant in a Project Manager role at NATO and EADS North America. At NATO, Laurent was responsible for developing a SharePoint portal and capturing users' requirements. At EADS North America, they acted as an Experiment Integrator, seeking synergies between projects and managing them on behalf of military staff officers.

In the earlier stages of their career, Laurent worked in the French Air Force as a Staff Officer at NATO HQ Supreme Allied Commander Transformation - Operational Experimentation, where they led multinational teams and implemented an efficient crisis management process. Laurent also served as a C-130 Pilot, accumulating over 3,000 hours of flight time and training pilots at all levels.

Laurent Zazzera completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1994, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aeronautical Engineering from École de l'air et de l'espace. Later, from 2007 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Old Dominion University.

In addition to their formal education, Laurent has also obtained several certifications. In April 2010, they became a Prince2 Practitioner from APM Group. Laurent then obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2017. In September 2013, they gained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, in July 2022, they achieved the SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., and in April 2022, they obtained the Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
