Alex Bernhardt

Alex Bernhardt currently serves as the Global Head of Sustainability Research at BNP Paribas Asset Management, leading a research team focused on delivering data tools and thought leadership for investment teams while supporting sustainability-themed fund development. Prior to this role, Alex was a Director at Marsh McLennan, where responsibilities included developing innovative strategies for addressing societal challenges. As Principal and Head of Responsible Investment at Mercer, focus was on assisting institutional investors with sustainability challenges, particularly related to climate change. Alex's earlier experience includes a Senior Vice President role at Guy Carpenter, where significant brokerage and advisory business was produced, along with a stint as a General Assignment Reporter at Chattanooga Times Free Press and an internship at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel. Alex holds a BA with Honors in English and Philosophy from the University of Puget Sound.
