Dr. Sharyn Jones

Dr. Sharyn Jones serves as the Global Head of Talent and Interim Co-Head of The People Team at BNY since December 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Jones held the position of Head of Talent Management at MassMutual from June 2018 to November 2021. Dr. Jones has extensive experience in talent management, having worked as the Global Selection Integration Lead and Head of Talent Management for Bayer Corporation between August 2013 and June 2018, and as Director of Talent Management and Organizational Development for North America at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation from February 2011 to July 2013. Earlier career roles include SVP of Consumer and Small Business Banking Leadership Development and VP of Executive Development at Bank of America from November 2003 to February 2011, and roles as a Psychiatric Social Worker at New Haven Board of Education and Psychotherapist at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Jones earned an EdD and MOD in Leadership Studies from Bowling Green State University and holds an MSW and BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as additional education from Yale School of Medicine.
