James Trehane

James Trehane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital transformation and regulatory technology, currently serving as Digital Transformation Senior Vice President and COO of Data & Platforms Solutions Technology at BNY Mellon. Trehane has successfully led the establishment of the firm’s Regulatory Technology organization, streamlining regulatory change initiatives and achieving significant cost savings. In addition to their role at BNY Mellon, Trehane is a trustee for The Trehane Trust. Previously, Trehane held several key leadership positions within the Army, overseeing operations and business improvement, as well as training and project management, demonstrating a strong background in technical expertise and personnel development. Academic qualifications include a Level 4 Diploma in Professional Development, Management and Leadership, alongside military training from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
