Jiani Chen

Jiani Chen is a Software Engineer at BNY Mellon since February 2020, with prior experience in technology roles, including a position at NYC Citywide Administrative Services where responsibilities included translating business requirements, testing new technology, and training non-technical staff. Jiani also completed a web developer internship at Time Inc., focusing on building interactive map components using ReactJS and Leaflet. In early 2017, participation in a competitive Android development workshop at Google provided hands-on experience in coding and algorithms. Jiani began a career in academia as a Mathematics Teaching Assistant at P-Tech High School. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Computer Science from CUNY - Queens College and foundational studies in Computer Science at City Tech, CUNY, as well as a Bachelor's degree from East China Normal University.
