Reinier Cruz

Reinier Cruz is a seasoned data architect and enterprise architecture leader with extensive experience across various industries, including finance and insurance. Currently serving as a Senior Director and Data Architect Fellow at BNY Mellon since April 2021, Reinier previously held significant roles at TIAA, where responsibilities included managing a team of enterprise architects and leading the transition to a federated architecture model. Reinier’s earlier career includes key positions at SunGard iWorks, SunGard Global Services, Bank of America, IBM Global Services, and several other organizations, showcasing expertise in data governance, business intelligence, and enterprise data solutions. Reinier is a Harvard University alumnus with an A.B. in Biochemical Sciences, demonstrating a strong educational foundation complemented by a diverse professional background.
