Daniel Cardenas LCPC has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral and mental health. Daniel started their career in 2006 as a Party Coordinator/Coach at Rockville Sportsplex, where they organized events and facilitated soccer skills. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Bowie State University as a Resident Assistant, Psychology Learning Assistant, and Counseling Intern, where they supported students' adjustment, provided tutoring, and conducted counseling sessions. After that, they gained experience as a Behavioral and Mental Health Intern at Adventist Behavioral Health and Wellness. In 2014, they became a Child Care Associate at the Board of Childcare, supporting adolescent clients with disabilities and facilitating their day-to-day activities. Daniel then joined the Board of Child Care again in 2017 as a Lead Mental Health Clinician. Currently, they are working as an Academic Advisor at Howard Community College.

Daniel Cardenas LCPC completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Bowie State University from 2009 to 2013. Daniel then pursued a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor at the same institution from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained a second Master's degree in Arts, Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University from 2013 to 2016.
