Alexander Smarsch

Alexander Smarsch has a diverse range of work experience. Alexander most recently worked at Bob W. as a New Openings Manager, responsible for operating in the hospitality industry. Prior to that, they worked at Logistic Concept GmbH as a Project Manager and at Janiya as an Operations Manager. Alexander also served as a Regional Operations Manager at Double Shot Establishment. Alexander gained experience in the hotel industry at Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol, where they held various roles including Restaurant Manager and F&B Coordinator. Alexander also worked as a Receptionist at Malmaison and as a Front Office Management Trainee at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. Additionally, Alexander worked as a Catering Assistant at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and as a Project Manager and job coach at Mise en Place.

Alexander Smarsch began their education at Oxford Brookes University in 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in International Hospitality Management. Alexander successfully completed the program and graduated with First Class Honours in 2018. During their time at Oxford Brookes University, Alexander also had the opportunity to study abroad at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2017, where they focused on Hotel and Tourism Management.

In 2020, Alexander furthered their education by enrolling in Cornell University. Alexander pursued a certificate program in Hotel Real Estate Investments & Asset Management, which they completed in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Alexander obtained certain certifications. In 2010, they acquired a Private Pilot's License for Fixed Wing Single Engine Land from the Federal Aviation Administration. Alexander also obtained an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from Barakuda Wassersport GmbH in 2011.
