Steve Chan, CFA, FRM, is an experienced risk management professional with a background in investment and credit risk. Currently serving as the Assistant Risk Manager for Investment Risk at BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited since June 2019, Steve conducts independent assessments on new investment initiatives. Prior to this role, Steve worked as a Credit Manager at Industrial Bank Co., Ltd., evaluating credit proposals and managing collateral. Steve's experience also includes serving as an Assistant Credit Risk Manager at Bank of China (Hong Kong), performing risk assessments and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, as well as a Credit Risk Analyst at Citi, where collateral management and credit policy formulation were key responsibilities. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
