Maurio Leon Guerrero

Maurio Leon Guerrero is an experienced design leader with a strong background in UX and product design across various companies. Currently at Google since November 2017, Maurio has contributed to the growth of YouTube TV and Shorts, while also serving on the advisory board of Bodhi® in the solar and renewable energy sector since May 2019. Previous roles include Head of Design at Gladly, Inc., where Maurio led brand and product design, and Product Design Director at Zendesk, overseeing the core product design team during the company's IPO. Additionally, Maurio was Head of Product Design at ValueCommerce, responsible for design strategies that supported substantial web traffic and transactions. Early career experiences include leading UI design initiatives at Plumtree Software and MarketMakers, along with initial roles in UI design for educational software. Maurio holds an MFA in Design, New Media from the Academy of Art University and a BS in Communication Studies from Emerson College.
