Josh Martin

Josh Martin has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of software engineering. Josh is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Bodygram, Inc. starting in February 2022. Prior to this, Josh worked at WeWork from April 2021 to February 2022, where they held the position of Full-Stack Engineer, Lead. In this role, they led the development of a Japan-exclusive product for reserved space management, reduced AWS expenditure by over 50%, and led the transition to an industry-standard backend framework.

Before joining WeWork, Josh worked at PlayBrain from August 2019 to April 2021 as a Software Engineer, specializing in front-end development and working with React.js. Josh utilized a serverless+graphql+AWS stack in their projects.

Josh's earlier work experiences include working at Efficio as a Full-Stack Developer from November 2017 to April 2019. Here, they developed full-stack API-driven applications, collaborated with UX and other developers, and designed and developed RESTful APIs for cross-product interaction.

Josh also worked at Maru/edr as a Web Developer, holding the roles of Junior Web Developer from August 2015 to March 2017 and Web Developer from March 2017 to November 2017. At Maru/edr, they supported the development of an in-house customer insight software platform, created an in-house dashboard solution, and optimized large dataset Postgres queries for analysis and visualization purposes.

Josh's earliest work experience was as a Junior Web Developer at Go MAD Thinking Ltd from July 2013 to August 2014. Josh'sresponsibilities included expanding and maintaining existing Zend Framework applications and creating a new application to handle payments and transactions via cURL.
