Philip Palumbo

Co-Founder at BODYROK

Philip Palumbo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Philip is currently the owner of the Houston and College Station markets for Dave's Hot Chicken, where they are responsible for growing the brand and driving its success. In 2011, they co-founded BODYROK, a fitness company that offers pilates-inspired strength training group classes. Philip has also been a member of the YPO - San Diego Chapter and Napa Valley Reserve.

Prior to these ventures, Philip worked at McDonald's for many years, starting as an owner/operator in 1992 and eventually becoming the San Diego Co-Op President from 2001 to 2014. Philip also owned Project M Worldwide, L.P. from 2003 until 2023. Philip has served on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego and was an executive board member of the San Diego Sports Commission. Philip chaired the Ronald McDonald All American Basketball Games in 2006 and owned MyPaperShop.com from 2002 to 2006.

Philip Palumbo attended the University of San Diego from 1985 to 1989. Philip studied International Politics during this time, but did not complete a degree.
