Dorejd Kastrati has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dorejd started their career at Novartis Deutschland in 2005 as a Sales Specialist in Neuroscience and later became a Marketing Manager in Cardiovascular, where they achieved market leadership in the hypertension market.

In 2012, Dorejd joined Novartis Deutschland as the Head of Program Management, Marketing & Sales Operations. Dorejd successfully coordinated cross-divisional projects and introduced new technologies to the sales force.

In 2013, Dorejd took on the role of the Regional Sales Manager for Primary Care at Novartis Deutschland. Dorejd led a team of hospital sales specialists and achieved a market share turnaround. Dorejd also served as the Head of Marketing for Transplant & Infectiology, where they successfully launched new products in the German market.

In 2016, Dorejd joined Merck KGaA as the Head of Sales Oncology. Dorejd led a team and managed the sales of cancer drugs, implementing strategic changes to maximize resources and developed a new sales training plan.

Most recently, in 2017, Dorejd returned to Boehringer Ingelheim as a Global Senior Brand Manager for Diabetes. Dorejd later took on the role of Associate Head of Medicine, Head of Global Scientific Affairs CardioMetabolism & Respiratory. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Development, Cardio-Renal.

Dorejd Kastrati has a diverse education history. In 1997, they began studying at Heidelberg University, where they obtained a Staatsexamen and Approbation in Medicine in 2004. Afterward, in 2015, they enrolled in the Global Executive MBA program at INSEAD and completed their Master of Business Administration degree in 2016. Dorejd has also received additional certifications, including "Accelerate + AccelerateEX" from Harvard Medical School and "Exposure" from IESE Business School. In 2018, they obtained the "Dr. med." designation from Heidelberg University.
