Dr. Jignesh Ved

Dr. Jignesh Ved has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on medical affairs and product management. Dr. Jignesh has worked at Boehringer Ingelheim since 2015 and currently serves as the Medical Affairs - OPU TA Lead for Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic Care. In previous roles at the company, they led the Diabetes and Heart Failure team and served as the Interim Head for Cardio-Metabolic Medical Function. Dr. Jignesh also worked as a Marketing Manager, supporting the Jardiance product-family launch. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Dr. Ved worked as a Senior/Medical Advisor at Pfizer Ltd. Dr. Jignesh began their career as a Resident Doctor in Pharmacology at Nair Hospital and TN Medical College, where they conducted research projects and delivered academic sessions.

Dr. Jignesh Ved completed their MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Pharmacology from Nair Hospital and TN Medical College from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned their MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from KEM Hospital and Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai, spanning from 2001 to 2007. In 2008 to 2010, they pursued a PGDM (Marketing) from Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research. Additionally, Dr. Ved has obtained various certifications, including the Accelerate Program from Harvard Medical School Executive Education in 2022, the Senior Management Professional Certificate Program from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode in 2020, and the Diabetes Specialists Certified Course from IDF School of Diabetes in 2019, among others.
