Matthias Samwer

Matthias Samwer has a diverse work experience in scientific roles. Matthias started working at Boehringer Ingelheim in 2017 and held multiple positions including Associate Principal Scientist and Principal Scientist. In 2022, they joined 21Dx GmbH as a Scientific Advisor. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IMBA - Institute of Molecular Biotechnology from 2013 to 2017. Matthias also served as a Research Associate at Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry from 2011 to 2013.

Matthias Samwer obtained a Diploma in Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry.
