Rafael A. Fantauzzi

Rafael A. Fantauzzi, EML has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rafael A. currently serves as the Executive Director of Diversity, Inclusion, Culture, and Equity at Boehringer Ingelheim since April 2023. Prior to this role, they held positions as the VP and Chief Diversity Equity & Inclusion Officer at AccentCare, Inc., and as the Enterprise Diversity & Inclusion Engineer at Fantastic Partners, LLC. Rafael also worked at IKEA as the Country Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Officer from July 2017 to April 2021.

Before their involvement in diversity and inclusion, Rafael was the President & CEO of the National Puerto Rican Coalition (NPRC), a national non-profit civil rights organization, for eight years from June 2008 to July 2016. Rafael A. provided leadership in various areas such as operations, personnel administration, fundraising, public policy, marketing and communications, coalition building, media relations, legislative affairs, member services, event management, and community engagement.

Additionally, Rafael has experience in corporate relations as the Director of Corporate Relations at Coors Brewing Company from January 2002 to March 2008. Rafael A. also worked at American Airlines as the Manager of U.S. Hispanic National Organizations/Promotions from April 1992 to January 2002.

Furthermore, Rafael's entrepreneurial journey includes founding RAFANTAZ Solutions, Inc., a business that they owned from October 2012 to July 2017, and co-founding iNERCIA Racing from January 2013 to November 2016.

Throughout their career, Rafael has demonstrated expertise in diversity leadership, public affairs, and providing counsel to Corporate America on diversity and inclusion-related issues.
