Senior Vice President & Global Head Of Cardiometabolic Diseases Research at Boehringer Ingelheim

Søren Tullin has a strong background in research and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Søren is currently the Senior Vice President & Global Head of CardioMetabolic Diseases Research at Boehringer Ingelheim, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Novo Nordisk for over 20 years, where they held various positions including Corporate Vice President for Discovery Biology & Technology - Research, Vice President - Research, Director for Diabetes Biology - Research, Manager for Dyslipidemia Biology - Research, Project Manager - Research, and Research Scientist. Søren began their career as a PhD student at Hagedorn Research Institute and also worked as a student at Carlsberg Laboratory.

Søren Tullin received their Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Copenhagen in 1990. Søren further pursued their education at the same university and received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 1994.
