Onur Güngör

Onur Güngör, Ph.D., currently serves as a Data Science Manager at Udemy and a part-time faculty member at Boğaziçi University since September 2022. With extensive experience spanning various roles in academia and industry, Onur has also worked as a Webmaster for Evrim Çalışkanları since 2006, contributing to the translation of the Understanding Evolution website into Turkish. Previously, Onur held the positions of AI Team Leader and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at sahibinden.com from June 2018 to July 2022, and worked as a Research Engineer at Huawei Technologies, leading a research project on question answering. Early career experiences include roles as a research assistant and teaching assistant at Boğaziçi University and İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi. Onur holds a Ph.D., an MS, and a BS in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University, completing the doctoral degree in 2021.
