Saifuldeen al Bassam

Saifuldeen Al Bassam has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Saifuldeen has held various positions at different companies, including Boingo Wireless, American Tower, NSN - Nokia Solutions and Networks, Pramira, Asiacell, and RTI International.

At Boingo Wireless, Saifuldeen served as the Director of RF Engineering DAS/Small Cells, where they were responsible for optimizing DAS coverage and installing and commissioning DAS systems for end customers. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal DAS RF Design and Performance Engineer at the same company, where they designed and optimized DAS systems.

At American Tower, Saifuldeen worked as a Sr DAS RF Performance Engineer, focusing on system performance and testing for LTE, UMTS, CDMA, and GSM. Saifuldeen utilized tools such as iBWAVE and ATOLL for design purposes.

During their time at NSN - Nokia Solutions and Networks, Saifuldeen held the position of Sr RF Optimization Engineer. In this role, they performed RF optimization and design activities for LTE, UMTS, and GSM networks. Saifuldeen analyzed KPIs and made parameter and physical configuration changes to improve network performance.

Before that, Saifuldeen worked as an RF Engineer at Pramira, where they conducted RF drive test analysis and performed tuning and pollution analysis on LTE, UMTS, and GSM clusters.

At Asiacell, Saifuldeen served as an RF Planning & Optimization Principal Engineer. Saifuldeen was responsible for designing and optimizing GSM, CDMA, UMTS, and LTE networks, with a focus on DAS, antennas, and IBS design.

Saifuldeen started their career at RTI International as an IT Specialist, specializing in WIFI technology. Saifuldeen gained experience in WIFI testing, troubleshooting, hotspot configuration, and AP configurations.

Overall, Saifuldeen has extensive experience in RF engineering, DAS design and optimization, network performance improvement, and WIFI technology.

Saifuldeen Al Bassam obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Basra, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Saifuldeen also has additional certifications in various subjects such as Teko Commissioning, ASSET, Corning MobileAccess Commissioning, HUWAEI equipements, Pre-Launch/Post-Launch optimization, SOLID COMMISSIONING, and iBWAVE. The institutions from which they obtained these certifications include JMA Wireless, AIRCOM International, Mobile Access, Huawei Technologies, SOLiD Technologies, and iBwave Solutions Inc.
