Diana Garza

Undergraduate Associate Dean, College of Engineering at Boise State University

Diana Garza began their career at Boise State University in August 1995 as an University 101 Instructor. In this role, they taught general education courses to college freshman, including academic advising, study skills, time management and diversity. Diana also provided an overview of all university services and introduction to college life.

In May 2003, Diana was promoted to Undergraduate Associate Dean in the College of Engineering at Boise State University. In this role, they are responsible for the academic success and progress of undergraduate students in the College of Engineering. Diana also works closely with the engineering faculty to ensure that students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for successful careers in engineering.

Diana Garza has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Educational Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University, an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Northwest Nazarene University, a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Boise State University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Boise State University.

Diana Garza reports to JoAnn Lighty, Dean, College of Engineering. They are on a team with Sondra Miller - Undergraduate Associate Dean, College of Engineering, Maria Mitkova - Graduate Associate Dean, College of Engineering.
