Duncan Gidney

Duncan Gidney is an experienced Senior Service Designer currently at bol, where a department-wide continuous interviewing and mapping project is being established to support strategic decision-making. Previously, Duncan worked at Emakina on large-scale service projects for notable clients such as HEMA, Coca-Cola, and Albert Heijn. As the founder of HOUT, a sustainable furniture brand, Duncan focused on rescuing wood to create lasting goods. Additional roles include Special Project Manager at VanMoof, where systems were implemented to enhance bike repair processes, and significant positions at adidas, covering integrated design and campaign development. Duncan's career also includes founding Clover Studio, working as a photographer and videographer, and serving as a Senior Media Technician at thenumber. Duncan holds a BFA in Film Studies and Photography from Concordia University and completed the Interactive Art Director program at Hyper Island.
