Katie Leyden is a researcher at Bold Insight. Katie previously worked as a design research intern at Resideo and a communications intern at Youth Business International (YBI). In their role at Resideo, Katie led a cross-functional team in composing a research protocol and conducted 14 in-home interviews exploring the intricacies of comfort and relaxation in the home during semester long project. Katie also studied consumer tendencies to draw insights about inconsistencies between data and behavioral realities, and identified opportunities within the space, designed “Microclimate” products and made recommendations to senior researchers at Resideo. At YBI, Katie was responsible for the creation of the daily sales report and other sales tracking analyses, and they briefed leadership on reports in weekly Open-to-Buy meetings.
Katie Leyden graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies, and minors in Business Economics and Collaborative Innovation. Katie also attended The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur.
