Jim Foley

Jim Foley serves as Operating Partner at Cold Bore Capital Management since May 2020 and as Strategic Advisor at The Charles F. Bolden Group since November 2020. Prior to these roles, Jim Foley held various positions in the U.S. Marines, including Deputy Director at The Ellis Group, where responsibilities involved developing organizational design strategies and advising on future capability investments. Additional experience includes serving as Fire Support Officer at USSOCOM, leading a cross-functional team in support of a Naval Special Warfare Team, and as a Weapons School Instructor at MAWTS-1, focusing on aviation integration and training. Earlier roles included Close Air Support/Fires Instructor and F/A-18 Aircrew/Weapons Systems Officer, overseeing significant operational and training responsibilities. Jim Foley earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame.
