Shane Leighton

Shane Leighton is an experienced project manager and mining professional with a career spanning over two decades in the mining and surveying sectors. Since March 2012, Shane has served as Project Manager of Mobile Equipment Surface Operations and Surveying Co-ordinator at Boliden Mineral AB. Prior experience includes roles as Mining Systems Functional Lead at Newcrest Mining, Chief Surveyor at Telfer Gold Mine, and Senior Surveyor at Tritton Resources, among others. Shane's education includes a Diploma and Certificate in Engineering and Mine Surveying, supplemented by Mine Authorisation certifications in Western Australia. Shane's expertise encompasses survey management, mining operations coordination, and technical supervision in both underground and open pit environments.
