We are on the lookout for an Area Manager in Buena Park, who shares our passion for customer satisfaction and safety excellence. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and reinforcing our commitment to a secure and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff.
    • Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of warehousing operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Inventory Control:
    • Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory.
    • Coordinate with the procurement team to manage stock levels and reorder points.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the warehouse.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
    • Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
    • Implement best practices in warehousing and logistics.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.

    • Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints related to warehousing operations.

    • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in the Google Suite.
