Dominic DiVita has a diverse work experience. Dominic currently works as a Water Resources Design Engineer at Bolton & Menk, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at YMCA Camp du Nord as an Outdoor Activities Coordinator from March 2019 to August 2021, and as a Program Staff from May 2018 to March 2019. Dominic also worked as a Wastewater Technician at the University of Minnesota Medical School from December 2020 to May 2021. In addition, Dominic served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the International Teaching Assistant Program at the University of Minnesota from September 2019 to May 2021. Dominic also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Arnold Environmental Engineering Lab at the University of Minnesota from October 2018 to December 2019.

Dominic DiVita completed their Bachelor of Environmental Engineering degree with a minor in Horticulture at the University of Minnesota from 2017 to 2021. In 2020, they had a study abroad experience at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Furthermore, Dominic obtained various certifications including Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Online from the American Red Cross in May 2022, Epinephrine Auto-Injector and Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in April 2022, Smart Salting for Property Managers from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency in February 2022, Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Designer from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency in January 2022, and an EIT certification from the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID in June 2021.
