Patrick McDavid

Patrick McDavid started their career as a Software Engineer at MCI WORLDCOM Communications Inc in 1999. Patrick then founded X over Zero Web Technologies in 1999 and worked as the Founder until 2004. In 2000, they joined FrontRange Solutions, Inc as a Web Application Developer and later became a founding member of the frontrange.com website team. Patrick worked on relaunching the website with a new look and feel and the site received the Forbes Online Best of the Web award.

In 2003, Patrick joined SunWest Communications, Inc as an Application Developer, where they worked on internal facing application development. Patrick then joined UBM plc in 2004 as a Systems Architect, where they focused on SaaS product development and operational support on the .NET platform. Patrick also worked on Dynamics CRM implementation and integration with LMS and ecommerce systems.

In 2009, Patrick joined Redwood Collaborative Media as a Systems Architect, leading the platform development team and delivering cross-market association management and organization tools on the .NET platform. Patrick then joined BombBomb in 2011 as a Senior Software Architect, leading the development of the company's video technology. Patrick recruited and developed a team of mobile, cloud, and operations developers. Patrick later became the Vice President of Technology at BombBomb, where they built IT and software engineering organizations to support a large staff and customer base.

In 2013, Patrick became a Member of the Messaging, Malware, and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group. Patrick joined BombBomb as the Chief Technology Officer in 2014, leading a cross-functional technology team and contributing to the overall company vision and direction as part of the executive leadership. Patrick oversaw software development teams, email deliverability team, cloud operations, information technology, and product design.

Throughout their career, Patrick has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in software development, architecture, and technology management.

Patrick McDavid attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Sustainable Development. Prior to their university education, they attended The Colorado Springs School from 1989 to 1996. Additionally, they have obtained the ISV Basics Badge certification from Salesforce Trailhead, although the specific month and year of its acquisition are not provided.
