Dominik Schneider, PhD, EIT, is an experienced data engineer currently working at Bombora since September 2021, where roles have progressed from Data Engineer Intern to Data Engineer III. Prior to Bombora, Dominik served as Phenomics Manager at Washington State University, managing a facility focused on time-lapse photography for plant phenotype analysis, collaborating on multiple research projects, and developing computer vision techniques for data analysis. Dominik's expertise includes R, Python, OpenCV/PlantCV, and Docker, with a solid academic background, holding a PhD in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder, an MS in Civil Engineering from Villanova University, and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware. Additional experience includes software development at various organizations, including the Center for Earth Science, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and the Villanova Urban Stormwater Partnership.
