Bill Hess is an experienced food service professional with a robust background in university dining and operations management. Currently serving as Resident District Manager at Bon Appétit Management Company since March 2017, Bill oversees a $35 million university food service operation that includes multiple restaurants and retail locations. Previously, Bill held senior leadership roles at Virginia Tech and ARAMARK Higher Education, managing large teams and substantial budgets within self-operated dining services. Bill’s career includes a strong focus on financial profitability, strategic planning, and culinary development, supported by an Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts from the California Culinary Academy and undergraduate education from the University of Maryland.
