Naren Balasubramaniam

Naren Balasubramaniam has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Naren is the Founder of Metamorphix, Inc., a public benefit corporation focused on eliminating barriers to mental health screening and early intervention in K-12 schools. Prior to that, they served as Chair of the Education Focus Area and Strategic Planning at the Indian Community Fund for Greater Memphis. Naren also worked as an Executive in Residence and Chief Product Officer for Digital and Diversified Growth at Bon Secours Mercy Health. Naren has held senior positions in organizations such as Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, Workday, and Providence Health & Services. Naren has a background in consulting and held leadership roles at Henry Ford Health System and Rapidigm/ Fujitsu Consulting/ Infotech Global Inc. throughout their career.

Naren Balasubramaniam's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Madras, which they obtained from 1990 to 1992. Naren also pursued a Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in Human Resources & Industrial Relations at the University of Madras from 1993 to 1995. In 2021, Naren enrolled in the GMP Executive Education program at The Wharton School. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in various subjects from Wharton Executive Education, including Executive Negotiation, General Management, Venture Capital, Scaling Business for Profitable Growth, Private Equity, Wharton Finance, Mastering Innovation, and Strategic Marketing.
