Vikas Palakkat

Vikas Palakkat is a software engineer currently working at Bonafi since November 2023. Vikas has a strong background in software development and data analytics, with previous experience as a graduate student at Dublin City University, where skills in building data warehousing solutions using Apache Hadoop, Hive, and Pig were developed alongside designing machine learning models using XLNet. Prior roles include a customer assistant position at Tesco Ireland and a software developer engineer role at Cognizant, where Vikas created an API-based microservices architecture using Flask and documented API specifications. Internship experiences at JPMorgan Chase & Co. provided exposure to financial data feeds and data visualization, while a development internship at Triaxia Infotech Pvt Ltd focused on user market research and mobile application prototyping. Vikas holds a Master of Science in Computing (Data Analytics) from Dublin City University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
