Ricardo Saracoglu

Ricardo Saracoglu, CPA, has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Ricardo currently holds the position of Head of Finance - Asia Pacific at Bondi Sands since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Manager - Asia Pacific at the same company from June 2022 to December 2022.

Before joining Bondi Sands, Ricardo worked at Scania Australia as a Business Controller - Retail from January 2020 to June 2022. In this role, they served as a direct report to the CFO and provided advisory and business partnering services to multiple business divisions and the Executive Management Team. Ricardo also played a key role in developing business strategies to improve company profitability, driving the annual business planning process, and assisting division managers with financial projections and target setting.

From October 2017 to January 2020, Ricardo was a Senior Finance Business Partner at Toyota Motor Corporation Australia. In this strategic role, they focused on project management to support new product and service development. Ricardo collaborated with the Engineering business unit to evaluate project proposals, supported business case development, and assessed project fiscal feasibility through cost planning. Additionally, they monitored project progress during development and post-launch stages.

Prior to their senior finance role at Toyota, Ricardo worked as a Management Accountant from April 2015 to September 2017. Ricardo was responsible for creating and updating inventory product costing in the SAP ERP system, analyzing inventory movements, and reconciling balance sheet general ledger accounts. Ricardo also served as a Financial Analyst from February 2014 to April 2015, supporting the Aftersales division with budgeting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis for G&A expenses, and detailed analysis of warranty run rates.

Earlier in their career, Ricardo gained experience through internships at Bayer CropScience and Kuehne + Nagel. As a Business Planning & Administration Intern at Bayer CropScience from November 2012 to November 2013, they processed sales orders in the SAP ERP system and oversaw the transition and relocation of the National Sales team. Ricardo also completed a Contract Logistics Internship at Kuehne + Nagel from April 2012 to October 2012, where they created and updated operational procedures and supported the inventory stocktake process.

Ricardo Saracoglu, CPA has an education history that includes obtaining a Bachelor of Business degree in Economics and Finance from RMIT University, which they attended from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) at St Bernards College from 2005 to 2010. In terms of professional certifications, Ricardo has obtained several additional certifications including Apply First Aid from CPR First Aid, as well as Certificate 3 and Certificate 4 in Fitness from Personal Training Academy Pty Ltd, all obtained in March 2012.
