Richard Smith

Richard Smith is an experienced professional with a strong background in management and sales within the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the General Manager for Bonfiglioli since September 2004, Richard oversees operations for multiple regions, focusing on the design and distribution of gearmotors and drive systems. Prior to this role, Richard worked at Atlas Copco from August 1999 to September 2004 as a Sales and Service Manager, where responsibilities included promoting a wide range of products and maintaining customer relationships. Richard's career began in the South African Navy, where foundational leadership qualities and technical skills were developed during service as a submariner from January 1992 to August 1999.
