Marybeth O'Leary

Marybeth O'Leary, CEM, currently serves as an Emergency Manager at Bonneville Power Administration since August 2018, where expertise in emergency management and Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) is applied, contributing to the enhancement of the BPA Incident Management Team's response capabilities. Prior to this, Marybeth worked at FEMA from July 2009 to August 2018, initially leading the Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT) and specializing in External Affairs, focusing on social media and web content. Marybeth's earlier experience includes serving as a Lieutenant at Snohomish Fire & Rescue and as the Public Information/Education Officer at Lynnwood Fire Department, where public education initiatives were developed. Marybeth holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and has received training from the National Fire Academy.
